At the age of 21 and 23, I experienced losses due to a rare blood clotting disorder. I experienced medical negligence. I was sent home from the hospital with a purple box and an empty stomach. My heart was shattered and my spirit was broken, I entered into a very dark and hopeless state of depression, bitterness, and isolation. It was a perpetual sadness and heaviness that I carried. Jesus shined his light in my dark place and I began to find hope, healing, and purpose for my pain. The Londyn Foundation was birthed in that dark and hard place. I wanted to honor our daughter and for her existence to spark a movement. As I became more hopeful and encouraged, I began to develop a passion for people like my husband and I. Who suffered a loss and needed hope, community, a healthy outlet, and forward movement toward healing.
